Sharing Truth
“Finally, brethren,
whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are
just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever
things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise,
think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received,
and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.”
(Philippians 4:8-9)
Today’s Morsel: If you learn
something new every day, you can teach something new every day. Every time we
learn something new about God from His Word, we should share it with others,
unless He tells us not to, as He did His disciples on the Mount of
Transfiguration. Every time we receive the truth, we should share the
truth, because the world in which we live in is full of lies and deception. And
the only way that people are not going to be deceived in these last days is
they must learn and know the truth. The apostle Paul admonished Timothy, “Till
I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Neglect not
the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on
of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly
to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself, and unto
the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself,
and them that hear thee.” (1 Timothy 4:13-16) If the truth will make
us and others free, then we need to share it.
Sing: The Mighty God is Jesus, the Prince
of Peace is He, the everlasting Father, the King Eternally, the Wonderful in
wisdom, by whom all things were made, the fullness of the Godhead in Jesus is
displayed.
It’s all in Him, it’s all in Him, the fulness of the godhead
is all in Him. It’s all in Him, it’s all in Him, the Mighty God is Jesus
and it’s all in Him.
Thought For Today: “But speak thou the
things which become sound doctrine” (Titus 2:1)
