Spiritual Persuasion
“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead,
when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's
womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong
in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had
promised, he was able also to perform.”
(Romans 4:19-21)
Today’s
Morsel: One of the causes of weak faith is weak faith.
If you never believe what God says in His word and apply it to your life, you are going to have weak faith. Abraham was persuaded that what
God said that He would do,
He could do and would do. Scripture says, “He staggered
not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was
strong in faith. Giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he
had promised, he was also able to perform.” There is no need to waver when God makes you a promise.
God cannot lie. Paul said that God is faithful even if we are not.
As Moses told the children of Israel at the Red Sea, “Fear ye not, stand still,
and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the
Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever.” (Exodus 14:13)
Let me encourage you, get rid of your unbelief or you will miss the promises of
God.
Sing: Standing on the promises of
Christ my King, through eternal ages let His praise ring. Glory in the
highest I will shout and sing, standing on the promises of God.
Standing, standing, standing on the promises of Christ my
Savior; Standing, standing, I am standing on the promises of God.
Thought For Today: What God promises
you, He will fulfill.
