What Season Are You In?
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
Today’s Morsel: In life, we say that there are four seasons. Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. And each one has its unique purpose and reason. Just what season would you say that you are you in right now? Is it a season of cold-heartedness from others? Is it a time of growing and blossoming? Is it a time of end fighting and hell on every side? Or is it the beauty of the foliage and serenity of life? Or is it filled with pain or stress? A season of disbelief and unrest? A season of loss and grief? Or is it a season of harvest and revival? Seasons usually run about three months each. Therefore, you are not going to stay in the same season more than the time-period that God has allotted. If you find yourself living in a season more than three months, you may want to sit down and talk with someone about what you are dealing with, as you may not be taking the exit ramp that God is showing you that leads you into the next season. Just as in the natural, seasons have a purpose, so do they in our lives. Allow the season you are in accomplish what God has for you and trust Him through the season.
Sing: There is sunshine in the shadows, there is sunshine in the rain, there is sunshine in our sorrow, there is sunshine in our pain. There is sunshine when we’re burdened, there is sunshine when we pray, there is sunshine, blessed sunshine, blessed sunshine all the way.
Thought For Today: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9)
