2011 August 2 - Morning Manna

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Today's Morsel:  Do you have trouble with trusting God?  Do you have trouble waiting on Him to bring to pass what you've asked of Him?  You know, there are going to be many times that you find your back against the wall.  And it's during those times that you are going to have to learn to trust God, or you may make the wrong decision.  To trust God means to rely and hope and believe that He will come through for you.  Paul informs us that the just must live their whole life by their faith.  No matter what we are facing or what we are up against, we must never lose our confidence and belief in God.  Solomon said that all the ways of  a man are right in his own heart, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Jeremiah said that the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked who can know it.  Our minds can fool us when our backs are against the wall.  So don't lean to your own understanding when facing difficult times.  But keep believing what God's Word says and He'll bring you through.

Sing:  Keep believing because His Word is true, Keep believing you know that Lord will see you through, when troubles rise in your life and you don't know what to do, you'll be fine, if you just keep believing.
