2015 September 25 - Morning Manna

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15).

Today's Morsel:  We find that the tree of life is found both in the front of the Bible and in the back of the Bible (Genesis 2:9; Revelation 22:2). But the book of life is found only in the back of the Bible (Revelation 20:15).  And the answers as to how to get your name in the book of life isn't found in the back  of the book, it is found only in the book of John and Acts (John 3:3-5 and Acts 2:38). Have you searched to find out what you must do to get your name in the book?  Is your name written there?  Look it's in there, right in the word of God!  Search the scriptures, you can find the way to eternal life within its pages.

Sing: Lord, I care not for riches, neither silver nor gold; I would make sure of heaven, I would enter the fold. In the book of Thy Kingdom, with its pages so fair, tell me, Jesus, my Savior, is my name written there?
Is my name written there, on the pages white and fair? In the book of thy kingdom, is my name written there?

Thought for Today: "In the book of life, the answers aren't in the back."  Charles M. Schulz, American cartoonist, Peanuts.
