But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value (Job 13:4)
Today's Morsel: I've noticed that there are more place with pharmacies these day to dispense drugs because so many people seem to be dealing with so many medical issues that they just can't seem to be control. Is it a money making business or is Satan fulfilling his agenda? Do we trust more in man for healing than we do in God? The psalmist tell us, "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man" (Psalms 118:8). Does Isaiah's message to us no longer have any value. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). Do Jesus words to us no longer have any strength and encouragement for the believer? "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord" (Luke 4:18-19). Job told his friends, "But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value." Somewhere, somebody has lied to people to make them think that they need to be on all types of medication. I believe that if physicians knew the answer to your condition, they wouldn't be practicing medicine! Trust the Lord, do not put your confidence in man.
Sing: A woman trying many physicians, yet grew worse, so to Jesus she came; and when the crowd tried to restrain her, she whispered these words through her pain.
Touching Jesus is all that matters, then your life will never be the same; there is only one way to touch Him, just believe when you call on His name.
