Sow The Right Seed
“Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap
the same.”
(Job 4:8)
Today’s Morsel: Most farmers
will tell you that when they plant their seed they are expecting to receive the
same kind of harvest. They do not expect to reap corn when they have
planted soybeans or vise-versa. Job said that he has seen they that plow iniquity and sow wickedness reap the same. The psalmist
states, “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious
seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with
him.”
(Psalms 126:6) So why should we think it
will be different with us? If we desire love, then we must sow the seed
of love. If we desire peace, then we must sow the seed of peace. If
we desire kindness, then we must sow that kind of seed. We will always
reap what we sow.
Sing: Keep on casting your bread upon
the water, soon it's gonna come back home on every wave. Keep on casting
your bread upon the water, soon it’s gonna come back home on every wave.
Good measure pressed down shaken together running over, soon it’s gonna come
back home on every wave.
Thought For Today: Plant the seed
for what you desire.
