Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 24 July 2020

False Advertisement

(Matthew 12:33)

Today’s Morsel:  Have you ever received an ad in the paper or on your electronic device with a beautiful picture of a nice meal and they want you to come in and try it? But when you get there and order it, it looks nothing like the ad nor does it taste like you thought that it would. Well, that is what you call false advertisement.   Jesus says that we must either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt because we cannot have it both ways. For the tree is known by his fruit.  People may doubt what you say, but they will always believe what they see you do.  Are you the real deal?  Others will know you by your fruit.

Sing: In my life Lord, be glorified, be glorified.  In my life Lord, be glorified today.

Thought For Today:  People may doubt what you say, but they will always believe what they see you do
