The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly. The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

Today's Morsel: So many people seem to be confusing life with things. And so, because they don't have an abundance of things they don't see the value of life. Life isn't about what we have or don't have, it is about Jesus Christ. The question doesn't make sense for someone to ask is life worth living? If life wasn't worth living, we would ever have been born. The reason so many don't see life as worth living is because they aren't applying themselves to a Godly purpose. Jesus gave us life so that we could live and glorify His name. The psalmist said, "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD." He saw that his purpose for living was to be declaring what God had done. Sharing the gospel to set the captives free, and leading others into a right relationship and into the way of truth is a life worth living for us all. If you don't think you have a purpose for living, just teach someone a Bible study and you will surely see that your view of life will change.
Sing: Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives all fear is gone. Because I know, He holds the future, my life is worth the living just because He lives.
Thought for Today: "Is life worth living?' The question does not make sense." Erich Fromm, German sociologist.
