But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Timothy 3:13-17)
Today's Morsel: Most people today are starting to wonder where so much evil is coming from. Why does it seem that evil is lurking on every corner and in many households. Well, the answer lies in the fact that most people have forgotten, or have never heard the two greatest commandments. Those commandments are to love God and to love thy neighbor as thyself. Satan knows that with the removal of the commandments and teachings about God in the schools and homes, he will create more evil in people's lives. You see, when you remove God and His word from anything or anyplace, you remove love. And when you remove love, you create an environment for hate and evil. But we must continue in the truth of God's word. Love covers all sin. So you beloved, keep yourself in the love of God and love His word. People still need deliverance from sin, so preach the gospel, which is based on love.
Sing: I will enter his gates with thanksgiving in my heart, I will enter his courts with praise. I will say this is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice for he has made me glad.
Thought for Today: The wicked shall not live out half their days.
