2014 November 5 - Morning Manna

Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man! (John 19:5)

Today's Morsel: The best part of every day is that you get to put Jesus on display.  As Christians, we are told to let our light shine that men will see our good work and glorify our Father which is in heaven.  Pilate didn't know it, but he was putting our Savior on display for the world to see.  To show you how stupid the devil is, every time someone tried to defame Jesus, they are really putting Him on display for others to see.  Really, when the media says that Christians are being persecuted, Jesus is actually being put on display, because others come to their rescue.  "The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion" (Psalms 20:1-2).  I don't care if people speak evil because of my beliefs, it just puts my God on display.  Scripture must be fulfilled.  "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me"(John 12:32).
If your cheeks aren't sore, you haven't been hit enough yet for what you believe.

Sing: Lift Jesus, higher, higher, higher; higher, higher, higher; higher, higher, higher; supernatural higher.

Thought for today. If people can't see Christ in you, too much of you is being seen.  (Parker)
