2014 November 14 - Morning Manna

But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:
(John 12:37-42)

Today's Morsel:  It perplexes me the number of people who do not believe that Jesus exists or that the story of Him is true.  But we should not be surprised.  John said that God robed himself in flesh and came to the earth (John 1:14), that He did great miracles right before their eyes, and yet they still believed not in Him.  It's no different today.  People see a person go to church, they see God get a hold of their life, they see them receive the Holy Ghost, get baptized in Jesus name, have a total life change, get delivered for drugs, alcohol, fornication, adultery, they see the person's marriage restored, and then those same people say that they don't believe that Jesus did it.  Are you kidding me.  There is no program in the world, other than coming into a relationship with Jesus Christ and following Biblical principles, that can do that.  Paul said, "For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged"(Romans 3:3-4).  Whether you believe or not doesn't matter, because Jesus has the final say.  People's unbelief does not change the truth.   If people don't believe Jesus now, they will believe in Him when they stand before Him. The difference is, it will be too late to believe then.

Sing:  Faith can move mountains, mountains of fear and of doubt, faith can move mountains, so why don't you try your faith out.

Thought for Today: Whether you believe or not doesn't matter, because Jesus has the final say.
