2010 August 28 - Morning Manna

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel. (Ephesians 6:10-19).

Today's Morsel: Are you battle ready? Are you prepared for the mission? Are you tired of the enemy's advancements on your home and your other brothers and sisters in Christ? Are you ready to take the battle to him? Are you ready to go on the offensive and get out of that defensive posture? I have noticed that the instructions God gave to Noah after the flood were to 'go forth, be fruitful and multiply.' But what did they do? They came out of the Ark and stayed in one place and tried to build a tower to heaven. So God had to confound their language so they would move forward and do what He desired them to do. Jesus told His disciples, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth "(Acts 1:8). But what did they do? After they had received the power, they sat in Jerusalem until a man call Saul (Paul) started to arrest them and put them in jail, then they began to go forth and do what God had told them to do. You have been chosen to go forth and preach this Gospel. You may say, "but I am not a preacher." If you have the Holy Ghost, you have been anointed to preach the Gospel. Don't sit still or the enemy will come against you. If you sit still, he will keep probing your position until he finds a weakness and it will be through that weakness that he will try to destroy you. Therefore, get on your armor, move out, and draw fire. It is better that we destroy Satan's kingdom than for him to destroy ours.

Sing: Be bold! Be strong! For the Lord your God is with you. Be bold! Be strong! For the Lord your God is with you. I am not afraid, I am not dismayed, because I'm walking in faith and victory, cause I'm walking in faith and victory. The Lord, our God, is with me!
