I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (John 8:24).
Today's Morsel: The incarnation of Almighty God in flesh upon the earth is confounding and confusing to many. Like Mary, they don't understand how this can be. The apostle Paul said, "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory" (1 Timothy 3:16). Paul said that it was a mystery. Mysteries must be solved. Therefore, in order to understand this mystery, you have to search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me, Jesus said (John 5:39). Remember, the New Testament wasn't written when Jesus was on earth. Therefore, the mystery is solved by studying Old Testament scriptures. "Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it" (Isaiah 43:10-13)? Jesus said, "For if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." Because the only one that can forgive sins is God (Mark 2:7). Jesus, the God that saves.
Sing: The Mighty God is Jesus, The Prince of Peace is He, The Everlasting Father, The King Eternally, The Wonderful in Wisdom, by whom all things were made, the fullness of the Godhead in Jesus is displayed.
It's all in Him, It's all in Him, the fullness of the Godhead, it's all in Him. It's all in Him, It's all in Him, the Mighty God is Jesus and it's all in Him.
