2014 June 20 - Morning Manna

And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.   (Luke 17:26-30)

Today's Morsel:  Habits are formed by doing the same thing over and over again.  Some habits are good, while others are not.  Everyone is trying to figure out when Jesus is going to return.  Many are looking at current events of the world, and trying to correlate them to the Bible to see if they can figure out Jesus' return.  Sorry if you are one of those that have this habit, but it is not going to happen by you knowing it.  Jesus said that no man knows the minute nor the hour that the Son of man shall return.  Not even the angels in heaven.  I believe that is because He wants us to walk continually by faith all the days of our lives and to not think we can get ready at the last minute.  Jesus said that as it was in the days of both Noah and Lot, it will be the same when He comes again.  People will be eating, drinking, marrying, buying, selling, planting, and building. Sounds like what is going on today, the world is in this habit.  I don't know about you, but I don't have the time to try and figure out when He's coming again, I need my time to be spent preparing for it.  So my question to you is simple:  Are you ready for His return?

Sing: Oh my brother are you ready for the call, to crown your Savior King and Lord of all? The kingdoms of this world, shall soon before Him fall, we shall see the King when He come.
We shall see the King! We shall see the King! We shall see the King when He comes. He's coming in His power, we'll hail the blessed hour, we shall see the King when He comes.
