The Angel with the Everlasting Gospel

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people” (Revelation 14:6)

Today’s Morsel:  One of the most important things about the gospel is that it came with everlasting salvation.  John gives us a glimpse of a vision of an angel flying with the everlasting gospel to preach.  Is this another gospel than the gospel of Jesus Christ?  No, my friend. The everlasting gospel is the gospel of Jesus Christ.  There is not another.  For neither is there salvation in any other but Him.  The everlasting gospel means it will never change.  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  When we are born again of the water and the spirit, we too are charged with preaching this same everlasting gospel. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.(Mark 16:15-20)  Let’s take it to the streets.

Sing: Well, I’m gonna take a trip on that good old gospel ship and go sailing beyond the blue.  I’m gonna shout and sing until the heavens ring when I bid this world goodbye.

Thought For Today: “Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire” (Psalms 104:4)
