2013 December 9 - Morning Manna

"And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints... And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS"   (Revelation 19:8;11-16)

Today's Morsel:  The Book of Revelations is a book of Prophecy.  It is a book of the past, the present, and the future.  It is a book of that which was, which is, and which is to come, The Almighty. It is a book which can cause you to rejoice, and one that can also make you fear and tremble.  It is a book that will make you examine yourself more closely, and cause you to search your heart more deeply.  It is a book that will make you think, and one that will cause you to wonder.  It is a book that will cause you to listen, and one that will cause you to sit up and take notice. It is called the Revelation of Jesus Christ.  In other words, it reveals and exposes Jesus in His Deity and His Glory.  The Book of Revelations rolls back the curtain and allows us to see the future of the saints and the destruction of the sinner.  John said that there is a rider upon a white horse and those that follow him are also on white horse, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  Fine linen if costly, pure and of the highest quality.  Righteousness, Godliness, and Justice cost you.  They require you to forsake all for Jesus.  The picture here is Jesus leading His mighty army.  He judges and makes war by one word, Righteousness.  "Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous"(1 John 3:7).  If righteousness is the fine linen of the saints of God, what horse would you be riding upon should Jesus come today?

Sing:  I'll be riding with Him, when He comes back again, on that white horse He'll be riding and I'll be right behind Him; and I'll be riding with Him, when He comes back again, on that white horse He'll be riding, just look for me, and I be right behind Him.
