Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. (John 14:1)
Today's Morsel: It seems that today, the medical and research community is working overtime trying to find curse for so many health and illness problems. One of the things they are trying to find a cure for is the troubled mind. They are trying to determine what is causing so many people to make wrong decisions, suffering with low-self-esteem, stressed out, weariness, and depression. God said that the reason many people suffer these things is because they've forsaken Him. "For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water" (Jeremiah 2:13). In other words, people have left the antidote for their troubled minds and everything else. "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." (Isaiah 26:3). If people will forgo some of the man-made ways, and return to the Word of God and live their lives according to it, they would see how quickly things could be mended. I give this as my opinion, because it sure works for me.
Sing: Who is this who comes with healing for the halt, the blind, the lame, saying softly to the sinner follow me. Only come in faith believing as of old the people came, and the lame shall walk, the blind again shall see.
It is Jesus! Jesus! Sad one weep no more! He will heal the broken hearted, open wide the prison door, He is able to deliver evermore.
