2012 October 27 - Morning Manna

"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars" (2 Chronicles 16:9)
Today's Morsel: There used to be this program called Candid Camera. They would hide their cameras and then have people do foolish things or play tricks on them and then they would tell them to smile that they were on candid camera. In other words we've been watching you. In many ways, we are on candid camera. God sees everything that we do. Scripture says that the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong io the behalf of them whose heart are perfect toward him. God knows and see everything that we, His children, do and the places that we go. The Psalmist says, "O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me" (Psalms 139:1-10). Notice what the writer says that His eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. God doesn't do this for everyone. It is a sign of divine protection and oversight on behalf of those whose heart is complete in Him. Jesus wants to ensure that nothing happens to His sheep. So fret not little flock. Are you complete in Him?
Sing: 1. I have a Maker, He formed my heart, before even time began my life was in his hands. (Chorus)
2. I have a Father, He calls me His own, He'll never leave me, no matter where I go. (Chorus)
Chorus: He knows my name, He knows my every thought, He sees each tear that falls and hears me when I call.
