2012 April 16 - Morning Manna

Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. (Genesis 3:23-24)
Today's Morsel: Humor is the best medicine they say. If you can get people to laugh, it does something to their spirit. They are often times revived and are able to continue on. The Bible says that God drove Adam and Eve from the garden. I bet it was a Honda that He drove them out in because on the Day of Pentecost, the Bible says that they were all in one Accord. You know, I have found that if we would let Jesus drive, we could enjoy the scenery much better and get the needed rest that we need. But often, we want to drive and let Him enjoy the scenery. Jesus already knows what the scenery looks like! After all, He made it. And He made it for us to see and enjoy. So why not let Him drive. He knows where we need to go. So get out of the driver's seat and let Him take the wheel and you just rest and enjoy the scenery for awhile. And when He gives the wheel back to you, you'll feel so much better and able to continue on your journey refreshed and renewed.
Sing: When God unfolds a rose, He always gets it right, when the petals are in place; Oh, it’s such a beautiful sight. God knows when to hold on; and the perfect time to let go; so let Him have his way, and watch God unfold the rose.
