20`0 July 10 - Morning Manna

And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz  (2 Chronicles 3:17).

Today's Morsel: When King Solomon was constructing the temple of God, he placed in two pillars, one of the pillars, Jachin, which meant 'God will establish,' and the other, Boaz, which meant, strength. As Christians we are not to be weak but strong. When we are born again, God has established us with His power (Acts1:8, Luke 10:19). God is our strength forever. We are to be established in righteousness and true holiness, as these are trademarks of the One True God. Righteousness and holiness are strength. Solomon, writing of the virtuous woman, said, "Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come"(Proverbs 31:25). How you dress shows if you are weak or strong. A woman of strength is always clothed in modesty. Solomon, speaking of the man, also said, "A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength"(Proverbs 24:5). When a man gets wisdom, knowledge, and understanding he is strong and his countenance reflects it. As the temple of God, we are to be established in strength. The joy of the Lord is our strength.

Sing: He gives strength to me, as I worship Him, as my heart is filled with praise. Jesus breaks the bands as I raise my hands, He gives glorious victory.
