The Ark by Faith
“By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved
with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he
condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.” (Hebrews 11:7)
Today’s Morsel: There would
not have been an ark for Noah’s family to climb into if Noah had not been
obedient. A man’s response to the call of God impacts his family's
opportunities to be saved. If a man neglects the calling of God, he puts
others at great risk. Scripture states that Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the
which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by
faith.
God told Noah and Abraham what He was about to do, and they both feared.
Scripture said that Noah built an ark to saving of his household.
Noah was concerned with his family’s well-being. Sad to say that today, God has
told us that He will destroy this earth, but men are not building a place of
refuge for their families. Noah had 100 years to get it done in his time.
Abraham pleaded with God about saving the righteous. And God would have,
but He did not find the ten that Abraham asked Him about. What are you doing to
prepare your family for that day? It is time for all men to be leading
their families closer to God.
Sing: Well, I’m getting ready to leave
this place, I’m getting ready for those gates of pearls; keeping my record
right, watching both day and night, well, I’m getting ready to leave this
place.
Thought For Today: Fires are
going to fall. Will your house survive?
