Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 27 June 2019

Wait On God

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.” (Psalms 27:13-14)

Today’s Morsel: One of the best ways to test your faith is by learning how to wait on God.  Sure, you can take matters into your own hands and try to fix your own problem. You can even use your own money to try and fix the problem.  You can try to buy your way out of trouble, or you can learn how to wait and see what God is doing in the situation you are in.  David said that he would have fainted; quit, went back, threw in the towel, and walked away, unless he hadn’t believed that God would come through for him.  Your situation and all the things you are going through just might be God’s way of developing your faith.  So wait and see what He’s doing through you.

Sing:  They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength.  They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.  Teach me, Lord, teach me Lord to wait.

Thought For Today: Patience is a virtue.

  1. I think events like this can make the overall status of the society to improve. It is a nice idea from the professionals to conduct such a giving day to help the people who are left helpless in the societyfriv jogos online
