Are You Lost?
“Unto
thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be
ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Yea, let none that wait on thee
be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. Shew me thy
ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.” (Psalms 25:1-4)
Today’s Morsel:
Where are you headed? Are you on the right road or the wrong road?
When is the last time you stop to check where you are in relationship to where
you are headed? Isaiah states, “And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it
shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but
it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall
not err therein.” (Isaiah 35:8) If
every day brings you frustration, low self-esteem, and/or stress, you are lost
and headed the wrong way. Paul said, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid
to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of
them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is
the image of God, should shine unto them.” (2 Corinthians 4:3-4) He also
states, "For our gospel came
not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in
much assurance...” (1 Thessalonians 1:5) Have
you wandered from the way called straight? Check your map, (the Bible)
every day to ensure you are in the way.
Sing: If
you got chains, He’s a chain breaker; if you feel lost, He’s a way maker; if
you need freedom, saving, He’s a prison shaking Savior; if you got chains, He’s
a chain breaker. (Gaither’s)
Thought For Today: Check
the map (The Bible) every day to ensure you are in the way. (Parker)
