LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved. (Psalms 15:1-5)
Today's Morsel: Do you ever consider what it's going to take for you to get into heaven? I find many scriptures that should leave no doubt in any of our minds. For example: Jesus told Nicodemus, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God" (John 3:3-5). The writer of the book of Hebrews tell us, "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14). And David asked the LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? And this reply was given, "He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that doeth these things shall never be moved." Jesus said that if you know these things happy are ye. The reason you should be happy is because you still have time to get it right so that you don't miss the mark.
The cry of my heart is to love You more, To live with the touch of Your hand, stronger each day, show me Your ways.
