Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. (Proverbs 3:25)
Today's Morsel:I've noticed that a lot of people suffer from panic attacks. They jump at sudden noises, are afraid to talk to people, and in some cases, they are even afraid to be around people. Many of them dread the thought of even having to apply for a job because of fear. God forbid that someone with authority comes around, they become a total basket case. Some of them are terrorized at the thought of having to meet new people. Panic attacks cause torment and sleepless nights in people. People become stressed, anxious and worried about things that really do not matter. A person who suffers from these types of attacks keep their talents and abilities hidden. If those who suffer from these attacks aren't careful, they can become claustrophobic; unpleasantly or uncomfortably confined to their homes and dark rooms. Panic attacks are demonic driven because as Paul told Timothy, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). Because Jesus gives us people, there is no need for fear. John said, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love" (1 John 4:18). If you want to know the answer to conquering panic attacks, become complete in Jesus. Because He is God and He is love and He casts out all fear. So when you are in Christ, you can say as we say down south for not being afraid or fearful,"Aint' Scared!"
Sing: He's bigger than all my problems, bigger than all my fears; Yes, He's bigger than any thing that I can or cannot see.
He's bigger than all my questions, bigger than all my thoughts; Yes, He's bigger than any thing that I can or cannot see.
