This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Joshua 1:8)
Today's Morsel: I read an article that said Nordstrom, the department store known for their great service, had mastered the art of, "Simplifying For Success." When it comes to taking care of the customer, they only have one rule for their employees: "Use good judgment in all situations." One employee summed it up by saying, "Because we don't have many rules, we don't have to worry about breaking them. We are judged on our performance, not on our obedience to orders."
God had already made it simple for success. He just simply said that if we do what His word says, we'll have good success. How much simpler can you get.
Sing: One, two, three, Jesus loves me. One, two, Jesus loves you. Two, three, four, He loves you more; more than you've ever been loved before!
