2013 January 11 - Morning Manna

"And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom"
 (Luke 12:22-32)

Today's Morsel:  What would you say is the number one thing that causes you to fear?  Is it the thought of you dying? Is it that thought of you losing your job or sickness?  What about a loved one?  For the child of God, we shouldn't fear these things.  I often wonder what I would do should these things happen to me, but I have prepared myself not to allow them to cause me to fear.  I have prepared myself by hiding God's Word in my heart.  As His child, I have learned that His ways aren't my ways, but I have a calm assurance that He'll never leave me nor forsake me.  I have a more sure word of prophecy that He'll walk with me and hold my hand when it's more than I can handle on my own.  I come to love the book of Job because if God be for us, who can be against us?  The Bible has proven to me too many times that it is true for me not to believe it now.  If I had never received the Holy Ghost speaking in another tongue the same as the apostles did on the Day of Pentecost, I might be shaken.  But not now.  Friend, if God has ever done anything for you, He'll do it again.  So don't fret.

Sing: He'll do it again. He'll do it again. Just take a look at where you are now and where you have been.  He's always come through for you, He's the same now as then.  You may not know how, you may not know when, but He'll do it again.
