2010 June 10 - Morning Manna

Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. (Psalms 37:37).

Today's Morsel: The psalmist calls for us to mark the perfect man. In other words, take notice of the man that is complete in Jesus and himself. Notice the man that isn't easily angry or who isn't discontent. Notice the man that doesn't have to always be first and one who prefers others more than himself. Observe the man that is humble and not self exalting, and one who walks in his integrity. Mark the man that is true to his word, his family, and his God. As these men are rare these days, you will need to be aware of them and follow them as they follow Christ. If you are void of peace in your life, these are the men you need to observe as their end is peace. Let me encourage you today, mark Jesus, as He is perfect and upright and He will keep you in perfect peace as you keep your mind on Him.

Sing: Peace! Peace! Wonderful peace! Coming down, from the Father above. Sweep over my spirit, forever I pray, in fathomless, billows of love.
