Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 2016 March 22

To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it. (Jeremiah 6:10)

Today’s Morsel:  Have you ever been talking on your phone going on and on only to realize that the party on the other end isn’t there?  We now call it a dropped call.  I’m afraid that too many people are dropping calls from heaven. They are not listening to the words from God.  Jesus is talking, but for some reason the party on the other end isn’t listening.  Jeremiah said, “To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.”  If you are talking with God in prayer and you feel that the call is dropped, let me encourage you, you take the initiative and get back on your knees and call Him back and ask Him to repeat all that was lost since you last heard His voice.  You don’t want to miss out on any warnings or words of encouragement from Him.

Sing:  Telephone to glory, O what joy divine! I can feel the current moving on the line, built by God the Father, for His loved and own, we may talk to Jesus, thru this royal telephone.

Thought For Today:  Heaven’s never too busy to take your call.  (Parker)
