“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever” (Psalms 23:1-6).
Today’s Morsel: Are you afraid when someone is following you? Do you ever wonder who is behind you at night when you are driving home and you look in your rear-view mirror and see lights? There is nothing wrong with being aware of your surroundings, but we really don’t have anything to fear because God is with us. David said that goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life. Aren’t you glad that Jesus has your back? Whose do you have?
Sing: I am covered, covered, covered by His blood. I’m walking by faith, living in love. I am covered, covered, covered by His blood, Jesus has rescued me.
Thought For Today: Something is behind you.
