Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 2017 April 21

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Today’s Morsel:  Are you living or just existing?  Jesus said that His main purpose for coming was so that we would not perish but have everlasting life.  Everlasting life means that it never ends.  Therefore, I conclude that if one is born again, then one should be upbeat always.  If you purchased a term life policy, you’ll focus on the world.  But if you have purchased a whole life policy, you’ll focus on heaven; because a whole life policy pays great rewards in the end.  You can’t steal my joy, Satan.

Sing:  I've found a new way of living, I've found a new joy divine.  I have the fruit of the spirit, I am abiding, abiding in the vine.

Thought For Today:  Jesus doesn’t sell term life, only whole (Parker)
