Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 2017 April 10

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” (Genesis 1:26-28).

Today’s Morsel:  I was pondering the other day on this passage of God making man, and thought to myself that if God just took dirt and molded it into what we call man, and then breathed into the nostrils and man became a living soul, then one of the reasons we could be having so many issues is because we are not playing enough in and with the dirt!  When we fellowship with each other and teach home Bible studies, we are playing with dirt.  It is said that gardening, playing in the dirt, relaxes and refreshes a person; that it is good therapy for a person.  The more we get outside and play in and with dirt, the better we are going to feel.

Sing:  Breathe on me, breathe on me, Holy Ghost power, breathe on me.  Yesterday’s gone, today I’m in need, Holy Ghost power breathe on me.

Thought For Today:  Get out in the dirt (Parker)
