2015 May 7 - Morning Manna

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:  (Isaiah 55:6)

Today's Morsel: Do you ever have one of those moments when you can't find what you are looking for?  It has been stated that most people's lack of contentment is because they just can't seem to find that one thing that they are looking for.  People change jobs, careers, homes, furniture,  automobiles, and even spouses, all because they can't seem to find in these things the one thing they are looking for. That  one thing that can bring them satisfaction and contentment.  Isaiah said that we should seek the Lord while He may be found.  You see, if we find Jesus, we can find contentment.  And once we find Him, we will find contentment in what we do, the things we have, and even with others. Jesus told us,"For without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5).  Believe me, without Him you will never have contentment.

Sing: I found the way that leads to endless day, yonder in the glory land; and the road is bright, for Jesus is the Light, and I hold His guiding hand.
I have found the way. I have found the way; Glory hallelujah, I have found the way.

Thought for Today: Even a blind dog finds a bone every now and then.
