I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12:1)
Today's Morsel: We got an email from Goggle that they had cancelled one of our gmail accounts because of a violation of the terms of service. I thought to myself, most people never read the agreement for the terms of service. But I often wonder, how many people would actual sign up for things if they did read the terms of service agreements. This did give me a wakeup call though. Because I have always been an advocate about reading the small print. In so many ways, this is what Jesus is going to say to many when they stand before him. He said, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it" (Matthew 7:21-27). They won't be able to enter because they violated the terms of service agreement. James tells us that we have to be doers of the Word and not hearers only, or we violate the agreement. If you have entered into an agreement with Jesus, may I suggest you read the fine print, the Bible, so that you do not violate the terms of service and miss heaven. "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service" (Romans 12:1).
Sing: I have found the way! I have found the way! Oh glory Hallelujah I have found the way.
