2014 September 23 - Morning Manna

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. (Hebrews 13:16)

Today's Morsel:   I think that I have told you that there are certain things that makes God well pleased.  One of those things is faith, and the others are doing good and communicating.  It has been said that 80% of any leader's day is spent in some form of communications.  A lack of communication can not only lead  to a state of depression, but also a lack of self-motivation as well.  When we communicate with others, we are able to share with them things that we may be concerned about.  Especially if we do not understand what and why certain things are taking place.  Jesus said that we should ask and it shall be given unto us.  Asking is a form of communication.  It's saying that you have a need.  Almost all disagreements have something to do with a lack of communications.  Wouldn't it be great if people learned how to communicate instead of yelling, screaming, and interrupting others when they are trying to speak?  As the old saying go, "I know you think that you understood what I said, but I'm not sure that you understood what I meant."

Sing:  Are you weary are you heavy laden? Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus; Are you grieving over joys departed? Tell it to Jesus alone.
Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus, He is a friend that's well known; You have no other such a friend or brother, tell it to Jesus alone.

Thought for Today: A lack of communication can lead to depression.
