2014 June 28 - Morning Manna

For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. (Jeremiah 2:13)

Today's Morsel: One thing is for sure, a fish out of water is sure to die.  We are like fish, and Jesus is the water.  As long as we abide in Him, we live.  But as soon as we get out of  Him, we die.  The Lord said "For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water" (Jeremiah 2:13).  If a fish cannot survive without water, don't think you can survive without Christ.

Sing: Just be close to You! Just to be close to You! Just to be close to You, is my desire; Just be close to You! Just to be close to You! Just to be close to You, is my desire; Just be close to You! Just to be close to You! Just to be close to You, is my desire; Just be close to You! Just to be close to You! Just to be close to You, is my desire; Just be close to You! Just to be close to You! Just to be close to You, is my desire.

Thought For Today: "Don't be a fish out of water,  or you will die!"
