2014 June 10 - Morning Manna

Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD. Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised. (Psalms 113:1-3)

Today's Morsel: I am of a firm believer, that the first three things that go from a person's life before they backslide are: 1. Prayer, 2. Praise, 3. Spirit of Forgiveness.  When a person loses their commitment to pray on a daily basis, they no longer see the value to talk with God and carry their concerns to Him, nor do they see the value to intercede for themselves, their family, and others.  And when there is no prayer, they will not see the need to offer thanksgiving and praise to God for the things that He does for them and others; which leads to an unforgiving spirit.   When we do not have a consistent prayer and praise life, we will not understand to forgive others when they do or say things, that we may not like.  And when these things are absent in a life, that life will walk away from God.

Sing: This is the day! This is the day, that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made, I will rejoice, I will rejoice, and be glad in it, and be glad in it.  This is the day, that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. This is the day! This is the day, that the Lord has made.
