This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. ...But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived....(2 Timothy 3:1-17)
Today's Morsel: In your opinion do you think the world we live in will get better or worse? Do you think it will get alot better, or alot worse? Do you think we should be concerned with how bad it is getting, or just hold on because it will get better? Would you say since you see what is taking place, that people are drawing closer to Jesus, have maintained about the same pace, or drawing further away? Would you say that the true church is hard to be found based on the current world condition? What steps are you taking to ensure that you don't get sucked into the world's ways of murmuring, bickering, and complaining? The apostle Paul said that in the last days dangerous time would come; and that evil seducers will wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. Would you say that we are in the time that Paul spoke of? Many of the things that Jesus and the apostles spoke of that would happen just prior to the last days, are being revealed right before our eyes today. Now is not the time to roll over and hit the snooze button. It is time to ensure your salvation is intact and you are ready for that trumpet to blow.
