Is This
Your Time?
“Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that
thou shalt escape in the king's house, more than all the Jews. For if thou
altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and
deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's
house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom
for such a time as this?” (Esther
4:13-14)
Today’s Morsel: Do you ever
ask yourself why out of all the people in the world, God chose you? Do
you wonder why your employer chose you over someone else for the job?
What would you do if you knew that your selection for the job had nothing to do
with your qualifications, but it was God behind the process to place you there
to be a witness for Him at this time? Have others started to open up to
you about their situation and life and ask for your opinion? Do you find others
gathering around your more? As Mordecai told Esther, “Who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time
as this?”
Sing: Lord prepare me, to be a
sanctuary, pure and holy, tried and true; and with thanksgiving, I’ll be a
living sanctuary for You.
