Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 1 October 2019

A Lack of Knowledge

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
(Psalms 14:1)

Today’s Morsel:  I read an article in a News Week Magazine, it stated that a new poll shows that some people are calling themselves ‘Nones’; meaning that they do not associate themselves with any religion or faith group, nor believe in God.  Paul wrote to the church at Rome, “For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” (Romans 3:3-4)  Today, if you hear his voice, harden not your heart, for if you reject Him, He will reject you.  When one rejects Christ, who is the power of God and the wisdom of God, their end-state is corruption, foolishness, and self-destruction.

Sing:  He’s been faithful, faithful to me, His love and mercy I see.  In my heart I had questions, even failed to believe, yet He’s been faithful, faithful to me.

Thought For Today:The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.(Proverbs 1:7)
