2015 August 21 - Morning Manna

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us" (Romans 5:1-5).

Today's Morsel: With all the unrest in the world today, many folks are losing their patience. Both Christian and non-Christian  alike are displaying much unrest.  Has Satan gotten you where he wants you, without patience.  No matter who you are, without patience you are sure to lose out.   Bob Levey, American writer, said, "Patience is the ability to let your light shine after your fuse has blown."  Jesus said, "In your patience possess ye your souls" (Luke 21:19).  An indicator that you've lost your patience is no one can any longer see Christ in your life.

Sing: Learning to lean, I'm learning to lean, I'm learning to lean on Jesus; Finding more power than I've ever dreamed, I'm learning to lean, on Jesus.

Thought for Today: "If you remove the "I" out of patience you won't have any. But if you keep it in, you should have sufficient for any situation or circumstance."
