2015 January 5 - Morning Manna

There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
(Luke 13:1-5)

Today's Morsel: I am totally amazed at how fearfully and wonderfully we are made.  We all have our own unique blood, DNA, and eyesight, and such.  Some folks are labored as having bad blood; meaning that there are disagreements between families or gangs.  If they have bad blood it did not come from Jesus.  When they told Jesus that Pilate had mingled Galilaeans' blood with their sacrifices, they thought that Jesus would be upset.  But Jesus asked them, "Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."   What was wrong with the Galilaeans blood?  They were looked down upon as being unclean. They were seen as heathens.  It has been stated that every person who is cut  or shot bleeds red.  If your blood is contaminated, it didn't come from Jesus, because His blood is pure. Do you need a transfusion?

Sing: There is a fountain filled with blood, flows from Immanuel's veins; and sinners plunged beneath the flood, lose all their guilty and stain, lose all their guilt and stain, lose all their guilt and stain; And sinners plunged beneath the flood, lose all their guilty and stain.

Thought for Today: His blood still remove sins.
