2014 September 19 - Morning Manna

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12:32)

Today's Morsel:   Some people are so full of worry that they don't know if they are coming or going.  Their day is filled with worry.  They wake-up worrying.  They go to bed worrying.  When they talk with you it is all about worry. They are so worried that when you see them, you want to say, "Here comes worry."  We worry over things that we have no control over.   Why, when all these things do is  plague us and put us into a state of restlessness.  Isaiah tells us,  "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength"(Isaiah 26:3-4).   Jesus tells us to fear not.  Job said, "But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold"(Job 23:10).  Therefore we should not worry about things.  God will never leave you nor will He forsake thee.

Sing: He's got the whole world in His hands, He's got the whole world in His hands, He's got the whole world in His hands, He's got the whole world in His hands.
He's got you and me brother in His hands, He's got you and me sister in His hands, He's got you and me brother in His hands, He's got the whole world in His hands.

Thought for Today: God's grace is sufficient for thee.
