For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones (Isaiah 57:15).
Today’s Morsel: Have you considered eternity lately? Have you stopped to evaluate just where you plan to live after this life? What preparations are you making? Are you working daily to establish a plan that will ensure your eternal salvation in your heavenly home? The Bible says in 2 Kings 7:3 “And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?” This is a very good question for all of us. Why in the world would anyone just sit and do nothing about getting ready for eternity? The five foolish virgins had no oil and they missed out. You need to start now t ensure you are ready. As the old leadership saying goes, " If you fail to plan, you plan to fail." The Bible has a pattern that we must all follow after we have been born again of the water and the Spirit. And that pattern is to “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14). Friend it's never to late to get ready. Tomorrow is not promised.
Sing: I've a home prepared where the saints abide, just over in the glory land, and I long to be by my Savior's side, just over in the glory land
Chorus
Just over in the glory land, I'll join (yes join) the happy angel band, Just over in the glory land, Just over (over) in the glory land, There with (yes with) the mighty host I'll stand, Just over in the glory land.
