2015 November 7 - Morning Manna

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

(James 4:17)

Today's Morsel:  Do you ever pray and ask God to show you your sin record?  Do you ever evaluate how many sins you do per day?  What are your actions when you realize that you have just committed a sin?  Aren't you glad that God is a good and forgiving God who will let you clean the slate by repentance as long as it isn't blasphemy against the Holy Ghost?  You know, as Christians, I don't think any of us should be going around sinning just for the fun of it. There should be in each of us a strong desire to do what is right all the time.  If sinners can't enter heaven, shouldn't we get in the habit of doing what is right and take care for our actions?  I don't know about you, but I think it's time I put the old man to rest and walk in newness of life.

Sing:  Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord to the cross where Thou hast died.  Draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord, to Thy precious bleeding side.

Thought for Today: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
