2015 November 30 - Morning Manna

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. (Romans 5:1-5)

Today's Morsel: Some other words for the word "experience" are, knowledge, skill, practice, understanding, know-how, familiarity.  Many folks have experience in a lot of areas because they have gone through things in their life.  Many folks want the easy way out of their trials and troubles instead of gaining experience through them. Paul said that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.  Therefore, we should not be too eager to get out of our calamities or misfortunes since they can give us experience. Remember, the things you go through and experience today may give you the know-how that you need to help deliver someone else or yourself in the future.

Sing: Trials dark on every hand and we cannot understand, all the ways that God will lead us to that blessed promise land, but He'll guide us with His eye, and we'll follow till we die, we will understand it better by and by.
By and by, Lord, when the morning comes, and all the saints of God are gathering home, we will tell the story, how we've overcome, we will understand it better by and by.

Thought for Today: Practice makes perfect.
