2014 May 24 - Morning Manna

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.  (Psalms 90:12)

Today's Morsel: When is the last time you stopped and considered your life?  I was pondering this scripture a few days ago, and I asked myself how many days did I think I had left?  The thought is minding boggling because none of us know.  And because we don't know, and because we all must stand before the judgment seat of God, shouldn't we give the more honest heed to the things that are written lest anytime we should let them slip?  If we live our lives on this earth according to the word of God, there may be a limit to our days on earth in this flesh, but there will be no limit to our days in heaven. "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day"(2 Peter 3:8).

Sing: Better is one day in your courts, better is one day in your house, better is one day in your courts than thousands elsewhere, than thousands elsewhere.
