2014 April 5 - Morning Manna

Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.  (Psalms 90:1-2)

Today's Morsel:  This prayer of Moses, the man of God, is an awesome prayer.  Moses let us know that God is our dwelling place for all generations.  Even Peter told the people on the Day of Pentecost, "For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call" (Acts 2:39).  Every generation has an opportunity to break generational curses and strongholds, to become a child of God, receive the promise of the Holy Ghost, be baptized in Jesus name, receive salvation, and rein with God for all eternality.  The Psalmist goes on to tell us, "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD,  He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust... There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone" (Psalms 91:1-2;10-12).  When we are in Christ, we will always have His divine protection about us.  There is no such thing as the homeless, they just haven't turned their hearts to Christ.  Because God is from everlasting to everlasting, eternal, immortal, and never-ending, every generation can find a place to dwell in Him.

Sing: I am covered! Covered! Covered by His Blood.  Walking by faith, living in love.  I am covered! Covered! Covered by His Blood, Jesus has rescued me.
