2013 September 7 - Morning Manna

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? (Isaiah 53:1).

Today's Morsel: Today's world is filled with so much evil that you don't know who to believe anymore. It's hard to tell who's being truthful and who's telling a lie because we are being pounded with the news twenty-four hours a day and they each have their agenda. Jesus said, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect" (Matthew 24:24). It seems that people are being told what they want to hear, instead of what they need to hear. And those who are supposed to know truth are walking away from truth because their hearts are being drawn into the circle of political lies. But as Paul told Timothy, "I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables" (2 Timothy 4:1-4). Friend, God's Word will never change. It still has the answer and the solution for the world's problems today. So whose report are you going to believe? I choose to believe the report of the Lord.
Sing: Whose report will you believe? We shall believe the report of the Lord.(2x) His report says I am healed, His report says I am filled, His report says I am free, His report says victory!
